My name is Ezequiel Reyes, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in  Counseling Psychology at Felician University. My interest in psychology began during my junior year of high school, when I took my first psychology course and immediately became fascinated by the way people think, feel, connect, and make sense of their experiences. No other subject captured my curiosity in quite the same way, and that curiosity has continued to grow throughout my academic and personal journey.

What ultimately drew me to counseling is a desire for healing. Both understanding my own experiences and learning how I can help others navigate theirs.

I believe that one of the most meaningful parts of being human is our ability to grow, change, and understand ourselves more deeply. As a counseling intern, I hope to create a space where people feel genuinely heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. I approach this work with empathy, openness, and a genuine desire to understand each person as an individual rather than simply focusing on a diagnosis or problem.

I am excited to continue learning, growing alongside my clients, and developing the knowledge and skills to become a counselor who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
